Samsung Product Cards
Redesigning the Samsung.com Product cards was a cross team effort between design and merchandising. We spent time prioritizing the most important information needed for each card and organizing that information to guide our customers throughout their purchasing experience.
Before redesigning
Before opening sketch I collected competitive analysis of other competitor’s product cards. I divided the two types of cards by "Traditional" which matches what is current on Samsung.com, and "Modern" which are more like product cards found on the Google Store and Apple.

With input from our merchandising team we decided on a core set of information and features for various types of Product Cards. Based on the features needed, I created a standardized grid system that scaled across each type of product.
Take Away
Even though the product cards were never launched, this project was a great learning opportunity - I gathered a lot of information about how our competitors showcase their products and how we at Samsung.com could do a better job in future product listings.
